Today, as the name suggests, Templi is all about taking suitability report templates and allowing you to automate the writing of said templates.

The concept of Templi 1.0 is very simple: If more than 95% of our users have their own Microsoft Word (or other) templates to write suitability reports, why not use AI and create AI-powered templates that write themselves, instead of spending hours writing them manually?

It was a very powerful proposition.

Our initial prototypes and Templi 1.0 attracted many users. Regardless of the size or complexity of the advice firm, we consistently heard that everyone had the same problem:

We want to reduce the amount of time we spend writing reports.

So, during Templi 1.0, we focused on improving the experience:

• Better text editor features to match MS Word capabilities
• New AI automation tools to make templates even more flexible
• A much simpler interface to create AI templates
• Improved the UI for better organisation
• and so on…

After thousands of reports were written using Templi, hundreds of demos and conversations, countless new feature releases, and endless feedback, we started developing a feeling—a subtle yet strong conviction about how AI enabled technology can change advice workflows forever.

Templi 1.0 was a powerful bridge between the old way of manually drafting suitability reports or any type of document from templates and the automated reports of the future. But the future holds much more than self writing document templates.

We want to lead that change with Templi 2.0.

Templi 2.0: Welcome to the Agents Era

The actual writing (whether done by a human or AI) is only one step in the workflow required to produce a client ready suitability report.

But what else is involved in the process?

After an adviser meets with a client, they need to compile information, delegate actions to support staff, gather research or policy information, perform calculations, run quotes or illustrations, draft the report from the template, review the final report for completeness and to ensure it meets compliance requirements, and then present the advice to the client.

Perhaps you are doing more or maybe less than the steps named above, but this is a general outline of what we have seen amongst our customers.

We call all these tasks the “jobs to be done” in the report writing process.

In order to add the maximum amount of value, we firmly believe Templi needs to have an impact on every job to be done. Not only that, it should be capable of helping you with every single job to be done, alone and together:

First of all, what do we understand as an “agent”?

Think of an agent as a highly skilled, specialised virtual colleague.

In Templi 1.0, you used an AI powered template (the tool) to do the whole job. In Templi 2.0, you will have a team of AI experts (the agents).

Each Templi Agent is precisely that, an independent, autonomous AI program tasked with mastering one specific "job to be done" in the process, whether it's summarising client notes, gathering product data, or performing a final compliance check.

Given that unorganised files are the biggest threat to report accuracy, this Agent’s role is to process all inputs and ensure the data used for drafting is clean, consistent, and complete. It distils vast amounts of disparate information into the precise essentials needed for your report.

Template Import Agent (Coming Soon)

One of the key lessons from Templi 1.0 was that converting existing templates into an AI-ready format could be a manual hassle. The Template Import Agent is designed to remove this migration stress entirely. Its role is to take your current documentation, understand its structure, and automatically create a native Templi template, complete with all the necessary AI instructions for a smooth transition to Templi 2.0.

Compliance Agent (Coming Soon)

The Compliance Agent takes Templi beyond just writing and focuses on the crucial task of quality assurance and regulatory adherence. Its role is to evolve our previous "inspector" tools into a comprehensive, autonomous reviewing system. It audits the drafted report against your firm’s policies and regulatory standards, essentially giving you a specialist compliance officer assisting with every final check.

While our core Agents cover the main tasks, the Custom Agents feature provides the ultimate power to automate unique or specialised workflows specific to your firm.
