Templi 2.0: Making the Advice Workflow Simpler

Our goal with Templi has always been to make the advice workflow easier. We started with suitability reports because they were consistently the most time‑heavy and frustrating part of the process. Solving that first created an immediate improvement for firms.

With Templi 2.0, we’re building on that foundation. Templi is now expanding into two products: one for paraplanners and one for advisers. This makes the whole journey from meeting to report smoother and more connected.

Templi 2.0 introduces:

  • Templi Paraplanner, which is the Templi you already use, now updated with new agentic features

  • Templi Adviser, a brand‑new product for the discovery and meeting phase

Together, they support more of the advice workflow.

Where We Started: Suitability Reports

Suitability reports were the first problem we tackled. They were slow, repetitive, and took hours to produce. We built a powerful agent that can generate complex, FCA‑compliant reports using your firm’s templates and branding.

What Templi supports today:

  • Powerful AI templates

  • Your existing Word templates imported directly into Templi

  • High accuracy and major time savings (4 hours reduced to around 10 minutes)

  • Users manually provided research and client files

What makes Templi unique:

  • Ring‑fenced AI that protects your standard wording

  • A bespoke editor that mirrors your firm’s branding with AI augmentation

These foundations now sit within Templi Paraplanner.

Going Beyond Reports

As firms adopted Templi, it became clear that the admin around client meetings — notes, fact finds, follow‑on tasks — was just as time‑consuming as the report itself.

Templi 2.0 expands support across more of the workflow, which is why we’re introducing a two‑product structure.

Templi Paraplanner

The Templi you already use, now updated with new agentic features in 2.0

Templi Paraplanner is the same Templi platform firms use today. All the core functionality remains in place: suitability reports, templates, data connections, and document creation. Templi 2.0 builds on this by introducing new agentic features that automate even more of the paraplanning workflow.

1. Generate long‑form suitability reports using your firm’s templates

  • AI‑powered editor that feels like Microsoft Word

  • Import your templates once and generate reports whenever you need them

  • Reads data from Intelliflo, OneDrive, and SharePoint

  • Integrates with Templi Adviser meeting transcripts and notes

2. Automatic fact finds (new in 2.0)

  • Automatically update Intelliflo (XPlan and Plannr coming soon)

  • Update client details directly from meeting transcripts or email chains

  • After a meeting, clients are automatically created or updated in your back‑office

3. Chat with your client data (new in 2.0)

  • Ask Templi Paraplanner questions in plain English, such as:

  • “Has Mary Doe used her ISA allowance this year.”

  • “What is John’s pension contribution.”

  • “Show me Sarah’s risk profile history.”

Templi searches your connected systems and gives you the answer instantly.

4. Create ad‑hoc documents (new in 2.0)

Templi Adviser

A simple front‑office app for advisers during client meetings

To support advisers directly, we’re introducing a brand‑new product: Templi Adviser.

Templi Adviser will be released as a Windows and Mac desktop app in Q2 2026, with iPhone and Android apps following in Q3.

Its purpose is simple. It helps advisers run better meetings and automatically passes the follow‑on work to Templi Paraplanner.

With Templi Adviser, you can:

Keep your meetings organised and ready to capture.

  1. Automatically generate meeting notes

Templi Adviser captures the conversation and produces clean, structured notes.

  1. Add new clients and update existing ones automatically

Client records are created or updated in your back‑office without manual admin.

  1. Delegate follow‑on work instantly

Actions flow straight to Templi Paraplanner for report generation, fact finds, and document creation.

Integrations That Fit Into Your Existing Workflow

Templi 2.0 introduces integrations for the first time. Until now, Templi operated as a standalone tool, with users manually uploading documents and entering client information. With 2.0, Templi connects directly to the systems firms already rely on, allowing data to flow automatically into the paraplanning and advice process.

Templi Paraplanner connects directly with Intelliflo, OneDrive, and SharePoint today, and support for Xplan and Plannr is on the way. These integrations allow Templi to read and update client information, pull in documents, and generate reports or summaries without manual data entry.

As Templi Adviser expands, these integrations will become even more powerful, linking meeting notes, transcripts, and follow‑on tasks directly into your back‑office. Our goal is simple: Templi should feel like a natural extension of the systems you already use, not another platform to manage.

Beyond 2.0

After Templi 2.0, we will continue expanding into compliance, research, and delivery. Our goal is to automate more of the jobs to be done in financial advice through custom agents.

This is part of a longer‑term mission: to remove the repetitive work that slows firms down, so advisers and paraplanners can focus on the conversations and decisions that matter most to clients.
