Templi product update: August week 1

Every week, Templi gets better at the work advice teams do every day.

This release makes Templi faster to move around, easier to tailor, and more reliable inside the systems firms already use. Search is quicker, dashboards show more useful client information, fact finds are cleaner to review, and CRM sync is stronger across Plannr and Xplan.

Faster search and navigation

Users can now open global search with Cmd/Ctrl + K and jump to clients, documents, integrations, settings, and common actions from anywhere in Templi.

Search also supports keyboard navigation, so advisers and paraplanners can move between active work more quickly without digging through menus.

That matters when someone needs to get from a meeting to a client file, template, or document quickly. Less hunting around means the follow-up work can keep moving.

More useful, more flexible dashboards

The client dashboard has been reworked so it surfaces more of the profile and fact-find information already held in Templi.

We have also added support for custom dashboards and widgets, giving firms more control over what appears on client and general dashboard views.

For advice teams, this means the dashboard can better reflect the information they need to review day to day, rather than forcing every firm into the same view.

We also fixed a navigation issue that could send users to the wrong page when opening Dashboard.

Cleaner fact finds and forms

Fact finds have been improved to make structured client information easier to read and review.

We have also removed actions where they do not apply, so users no longer see edit controls on third-party forms or fill actions in the wrong places.

During onboarding, automatic client imports now happen at the right point in setup rather than triggering too early. That keeps setup clearer and puts the decision in the right place.

Stronger CRM sync for Plannr and Xplan

The Plannr integration now supports importing and exporting fact-find data across many more client fields and sections, bringing it much closer to parity with other supported systems.

We have also added firm selection on connect and improved error handling around failed sync attempts, making setup and troubleshooting more reliable.

Xplan export handling has also been improved so valid data is less likely to be dropped during write-back.

The goal is simple: Templi should fit into the systems advice firms already rely on, with less manual checking around whether the right client data has moved cleanly.

Cleaner scheduled meeting recording in Templi Adviser

Scheduled meeting recording now behaves more predictably.

Starting from a meeting reminder opens the right meeting, carries the recording intent through safely, and waits for the matching call to be detected before recording begins.

That keeps the meeting workflow more predictable and keeps the adviser in control of what is being captured.

Interface polish and review safeguards

We have improved the layout for reconnection and import-status states, so important workflow signals fit better in the app shell.

We also fixed horizontal overflow issues that could hide content in document pages and integration modals.

Finally, chat now includes a clearer AI reminder so users are prompted to double-check outputs before they are used in advice work.

Why this matters

This release is about smoother everyday movement through Templi: finding the right work faster, reviewing client information more clearly, syncing data more reliably, and keeping meeting workflows predictable.

That is the rhythm behind Templi's weekly product updates: steady improvements that make the work between client conversations easier to review, easier to trust, and closer to how each firm already works.
