Import from Xplan.

Templi reads your Iress Xplan client data into fact finds, meeting notes and suitability reports, then writes the changes you approve back to Xplan. Connect with your site URL and login, and the re-keying stops.

How it works

Live on Xplan in three steps.

  1. 01

    Connect Xplan

Install the Iress Xplan integration and connect with your Xplan site URL and an Xplan account. A service account with access across the firm lets Templi reach every adviser's clients.

  2. 02

    Clients come across

Your Xplan clients and advisers import into Templi, matched to your team. Titles, income types and asset types come from your own site's option lists, so what goes back matches what your team uses.

  3. 03

    You approve what goes back

Fact find updates and meeting outcomes are listed per client for you to check. Confirm them and they write back to Xplan. Nothing writes without a person's approval.

Fact finds

Fact finds filled from Xplan

Start a fact find and Templi pre-fills it from Xplan: personal details, health, dependants, goals, income, expenditure, assets, liabilities and consent. Meeting transcripts complete the gaps, and you approve what writes back.

Meetings

Meeting notes that update Xplan

Record the meeting with or without a bot. Templi writes the file note in your firm's format and lists the client changes it heard. Confirm them and Xplan updates.

FAQ

Xplan
questions.

What advice firms ask before connecting Iress Xplan to Templi.

Does Templi integrate with Xplan?

Yes. The Iress Xplan integration is native. It imports your clients and advisers, reads the fact-find fields Templi needs, and writes your approved changes back to Xplan.

How do I import clients from Xplan?

Install the integration from the Templi app store and connect with your Xplan site URL and an Xplan account. We recommend a service account with access across the firm, so Templi can reach every adviser's clients.

What does Templi write back to Xplan?

Fact find fields in both directions: personal details, health, contact details, dependants, goals, income, expenditure, assets, liabilities and consent. Each change waits for your approval before it writes.

Does Templi write pensions and policies back to Xplan?

Not yet. Existing pensions, annuities and protection policies are read for context when drafting, but Templi does not write them back. Occupation and employer stay in Templi too, as Xplan's API does not expose employment records.

Does Templi replace Xplan?

No. Templi sits on top of Xplan. Xplan stays your system of record, and Templi reads from it and writes back only what you approve.

Is there an AI note taker that works with Xplan?

Yes. Templi records the meeting with or without a bot, writes the file note in your firm's template, and queues the client changes for Xplan.
